There is difference between General English and Business English. If you or your employees are proficient in the business language, then your business has a very important tool for success. English is often used in boardrooms and for presentations, even when none of the participants or presenters is a native speaker. It is the ‘go to language’ if you want to get your point across in both private meetings and public forums. If you can speak English for work purposes, you can also travel for work purposes. However, if you can read and write in English, you can plan business travel and administrate effectively! You will have an advantage when it comes to negotiating business deals or making a business presentation if your English is of a professional standard.
