The book “Agriculture Innovation System in Bangladesh: Experiences of Asian Nations” is the result of rigorous review of the institutional development of some selected countries in South and southeast Asian countries, namely, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Indonesia, Philippines; Thailand, China and Vietnam. The intention of the book to learn good practices and institutional development process in the recent years, made cross country analysis, investment trend, human resources management, strength and weakness, gaps, merit retention at the research system, among others. The institution is the prime focus of the book, and the readers may get insight of views expressed to improve agricultural research system, considering emerging challenges in Agri-food system in the rice-based farming in Asian countries. The information gathered during the process of the study took time to under-stand the system through number of sources, individual and secondary sources. The figures presented here are mostly indicative and time specific as real time data was not available during preparation.
